About Shas Sheehan
Shas grew up in Tooting and has lived in Putney, Camden, Streatham, Walworth, Shepherd's Bush and Kew. London is home for Shas, husband Patrick and their three children. A former councillor and Assistant Cabinet Member for Energy and Climate Change in Richmond, Shas has a Masters in Environmental Technology and is passionate about the environment. Shas was Head of Office to former MP Susan Kramer and is a senior ambassador for the largest microfinance charity in the UK. She is also a member of Merton Fairtrade group, Amnesty International and London Wildlife Trust - The number 1 choice for London.
A strong campaigner
As PPC in Wimbledon in 2010 Shas's formidable campaign pushed Labour into third place and helped win our first councillors in Merton Borough. Shas has a fantastic record of campaigning in by-elections across London over the last six years. These include Wembley Central, Chadwell Heath, Colville, Haverstock, New River, Earl's Court, Kentish Town and the Mayoral election in Tower Hamlets. Shas will work across London, to help in every borough - The number 1 choice for London.

As an elected member of the London Assembly Shas will:

- Make London a top environmentally sustainable city
